Almost home!

I’ve been in San Diego since Tuesday. 

We had an oil spill exercise with Chevron at the Convention Center.

This place is HUGE.  I’m used to the Sacramento Convention Center, which is puny (sp?) now!

Anyway, it was a good exercise.  I got to know a few of my coworkers a little better, ate lots of Mexican food, and sat in the hot tub every night.  I miss the hot tub.  I grew up with one, and we used it a LOT.  One day, when we buy our own house, that is something that I plan to have.  For sure!

I’m back at my office, and my van doesn’t leave for another couple of hours.  I am really looking forward to seeing my kids tonight.  They’ve been in Chico with Dad all week (and Dad won’t be coming home until Sunday).  I miss them.
